What's Happening
The Town of Shelburne is pleased to help share an exciting event taking place later this month. In partnership with the Museum of Dufferin, BookLore, and Small Town Big Ideas, acclaimed Canadian author Antonio Michael Downing will be visiting on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for an afternoon of conversation, storytelling, and literary insight.
This special event will be moderated by Shannon McGrady, CEO of the Shelburne Public Library.
Mayor Wade Mills, on behalf of the Council of the Town of Shelburne, proclaims the week of April 4–10, 2026 as: National Dental Hygienists Week™ in the Town of Shelburne.
Mayor Wade Mills, on behalf of the Council of the Town of Shelburne, proclaims April 2nd 2026 as AUTISM AWARENESS DAY in the Town of Shelburne, and urge all residents to participate in Autism Awareness activities, in order to become better educated about autism and create a better community for individuals and families affected by autism.
Flag raising is scheduled for 10am April 2 at Jack Downing Park.
