COVID-19 Update from Mayor Wade Mills April 16, 2021
There were 4,812 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today which is the highest single daily case count that we have seen since the beginning of the pandemic. Province-wide, our cumulative reported totals are now 408,383 cases, 360,472 resolved cases, 7,664 reported deaths. It is also being reported that there are currently 701 patients currently in ICU with 480 of those on ventilators.
New Water Tower Construction. The Town of Shelburne will soon have a new water tower, beginning construction this year and starting operations in 2022.
COVID-19 Update from Mayor Wade Mills April 9, 2021. There were 4,227 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today which is the second highest daily case count that we have seen since the beginning of the pandemic.
A Special Meeting of Town Council to Consider Servicing Allocation and Renewal Requests to be held April 28, 2021 at 5:00pm. The Town is seeking responses from interested parties with planned residential developments for 5 or more units, as well as Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) developments and other non-residential requests for which servicing capacity will be required.
Mayor Wade Mills, on behalf of the Council of the Town of Shelburne, do hereby proclaim April 2nd 2021 as AUTISM AWARENESS DAY in the Town of Shelburne, and urge all residents to participate in Autism Awareness activities, in order to become better educated about autism and create a better community for individuals with autism. COVID-19 Update from Mayor Wade Mills April 1, 2021. There were 2,557 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today which marks the eighth straight day where new cases were over the 2,000 mark.
