On December 13, 2021, the Mayor, and Council passed a Clean Yards Bylaw that would become enforceable on April 15, 2022, allowing time for the application and approval of set fines. In response to Council direction to move from complaint driven enforcement to proactive enforcement Town of Shelburne Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will be conducting Proactive Enforcement Blitz’s throughout the year.

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. Whereas Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling neurological disease affecting an estimated 1 in 400 Canadians and approximately 90,000 across the country; and.

Resident Reminder: Boulevard Obstructions. As residents prepare their properties for the warmer months, please do not build or install permanent features on the boulevard or around boulevard trees.

Community Clean Up – April 28, 2022. Ice River Sustainable Solutions will be conducting a community clean up at Greenwood Park (355 Greenwood Street) on Thursday April 28, 2022 starting at 11:00am.

As we transition out of Winter Maintenance, Public Works staff begin preparing roads, sidewalks and parks for the Summer months. Maintenance efforts underway at this time of year are repairing potholes and damaged grass, sweeping streets and sidewalks, collecting debris and garbage, and setting up parks and sports fields.
